Smart Greenhouse

I built a small greenhouse in my backyard and quickly found out how easily they can overheat. Utilizing a raspberry pi (small linux computer) equipped with sensors and some custom electronics, I wrote a program that would allow me to remotely monitor the conditions in the greenhouse and automatically turn on a fan whenever it got too hot. Every 5 minutes I would log the temperature, humidity, pressure and take a picture. All the data would get sent up to AWS to be stored in Dynamodb and S3. I was able to create a timelapse video of the entire growing season from the photos taken and plan on visualizing the other data points.
